Numerous guests from Poland, Germany and other countries gathered to commemorate the crimes of National Socialism. The event began with speeches by the mayor of S\u0142o\u0144sk and various representatives of the Polish side, and at the end Dirk R\u00f6der handed over the vector of the Liberation Route Europe. The event concluded with the laying of a wreath in front of the memorial<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The mayor of S\u0142o\u0144sk emphasised the importance of remembrance for the future of Europe. A representative of the German embassy spoke about Germany's responsibility to keep remembrance alive and promote reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Afterwards, an exhibition in the S\u0142o\u0144sk museum offered insights into the history of the camp and its inmates. The commemorative event ended with a silent walk through the grounds of the former prison. Many visitors expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to mourn and reflect together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">This event emphasises the importance of remembering the dark chapters
