The Oder-Warthe region is a REMEMBRANCE LANDSCAPE of particular value, in which the 20th century in particular has left deep scars. There is a need and great potential to preserve these cultural resources for future generations and to utilise them for the development of the shared border region.
In cross-border cooperation funded by the Interreg V-A Brandenburg-Lubuskie programme, the project partners the town of Seelow, the town of Kostrzyn nad Odrą and the municipality of Słońsk developed a cross-border tourism cluster as a brand and network: "Remembrance connects Oder-Warta"
