by the mayor of the municipality of Letschin,
Mr Michael Böttcher
09:40 - 10:30 Project presentation by the students
from the grammar school on the Seelow Heights
from 10.30 a.m. Mayor Böttcher asks all those present to
to the memorial for the commemorative event
to continue
Music played by the Letschin brass choir to mark the arrival of those present
10:50 am - 11:00 am Unveiling of the vector stamps,
Liberation Route Europe
from 11:00 - 11:10 a.m. Wreath-laying ceremony and commemoration
Armoured monument and memorial to all victims of the
War
11:10 - 11:20 h Trombone choir Letschin
11:20 - 11:30 a.m. Commemorative words by District Administrator Gernot Schmidt
11:30 - 11:40 a.m. Recitation from the Gymnasium to the
Seelow Heights
11:40 - 11:50 a.m. Prayer by Pastor Frank Schneider
The event concludes with a piece of music from the trombone choir
Note: Wreath-laying ceremonies will take place at two memorial sites.
